Secondhand Goods Donations
Public and commercial donations of clothing, books, kitchenware, furniture, electrical appliances (in good working order), toys, sporting goods, DVD and CD, records and all manner of bric-brac are greatly appreciated.
CAUTION: We cannot:
• Collect items from flats, units or houses above ground level that require our staff to carry goods down stairs
• Accept mattresses that are stained or torn
• Accept goods in poor condition or in need of repair
• Accept gas appliances, wall ovens, blinds/curtains and carpet
• Accept refrigerators, washing machines and clothes dryers showing rust and are over ten (10) years old
• Accept top loading video recording units or VCR over ten (10) years old.
• Pick up small items or bags of cloth that can be paced in our Community Collection Bins.
Opportunity Knocks (Op Shop)
Located at Carpark 4, 10 Selby Street, Shenton Park our Op Shop Opportunity Knocks is open 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday with ample parking next to the shop.
We invite you to inspect our constantly changing stock of quality pre-loved and recycled clothing, safety checked electrical goods, books, furniture and bric-brac.
Giant Garage Sales (Quarterly)
If garage sales are your passion, there is none better than Paraquad's Giant "Scroungers" Garage Sale. Packed with furniture, shoes, books, toys, safety checked electrical goods, crockery, kitchen utensils, bric-a-brac and collectibles, there is something for everyone!
Look for our advertisement in the Sunday Times and street signs around the Shenton Park area.
The next Giant Garage Sale will be held on Sunday 21 March 2010,opening at 10 am and closing at 1 pm in the Association's Recreation Hall, 10 Selby Street, Shenton Park. Follow the signs off Selby Street with ample parking for cars and trailers.
